Anniversary at Farmlore
For our first anniversary, we celebrated at Farmlore in Bangalore, a unique farm-to-table dining experience. It was nearly a three-hour culinary journey through dishes sourced entirely from their own farm—including fresh produce, hydroponically grown vegetables, and dairy from their cows. We explored the farm, marveled at innovative dishes like edible 'plastic' in a fish dish honoring the ocean, delightful whiskey and gin gummies, and a perfectly prepared duck dish. The highlight, though, was an extraordinary anniversary cake gifted to us by the lovely chef when he discovered it was our special day. It didn't resemble a traditional cake at all—just individual ingredients cleverly disguised as something else—but when combined, it transformed into the most delicious chocolate cake in our mouths. I still enthusiastically share the story of this magical cake with friends. Truly, an anniversary lunch I'll cherish for years.
